since 1979 and has been part of many exciting changes in health care for individuals with disabilities. Recognizing the benefits of alternative therapy, Virginia was instrumental in bringing integrative treatment to Boulder Community Hospital in 2004.
Becoming involved in the Chanda Plan was a natural fit since their mission is helping individuals with disabilities strengthen their health and improve the quality of their life. And working on the Pilot program to provide alternative treatment through Medicaid truly is health care reform.
Virginia has her BS and MA in Speech Pathology. She moved to Boulder in 1978 to pursue her doctorate. She enjoys hiking,cooking and spending time with family and friends, particularly her daughter, Gina, an acclaimed experimental film maker.
